Eco-Logical Business

Land Rover Portland has been honored for its outstanding commitment to environmental stewardship. Our Centre was the first automobile retailer ever to be certified as an Eco-Logical Business by the Pollution Prevention Outreach Team (P2O), a partnership of eight regional and local public agencies. Land Rover Portland is the first automobile dealer, and one of a small number of Oregon businesses to have met P2O's stringent certification criteria for energy efficiency, recycling and hazardous materials managment.

As one example of the extraordinary measures we take in our every day operations, rather than disposing of used antifreeze, it is distilled on premises into pure water and glycol, which is then reformulated into new antifreeze. All waste oil is similarly recycled.
