As concern about climate change increases, many people are becoming more aware of how their daily activities contribute to the production of carbon dioxide (CO2), the primary greenhouse gas.

In keeping with our long term committment to sustainability, Land Rover Portland recently became the first automobile retailer in North America to provide carbon offsets with every vehicle sold. With each new and Certified Pre-Owned Land Rover delivered, Land Rover Portland offsets 100% of the estimated CO2 produced during 50,000 miles of driving.

Land Rover Portland has partnered with The Conservation Fund, the nation's top-rated environmental non-profit organization, to achieve these offsets through the restoration of native forests. In addition to trapping the carbon dioxide produced by each vehicle, these projects also provide additional environmental benefits including restored wildlife habitats, improved air and water quality and enhanced recreation areas.
